The First Criminal Trial of a US president is underway

Opening statements have been made.

Good luck with that.

Prosecutors called their first witness, David Pecker of the National Enquirer, the publication alleged to have run a "catch and kill" operation for Trump during the 2016 campaign to keep negative stories out of print.

Trial adjourned early today for Passover and a juror's dentist appointment.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

UPDATE 01:20 pm:

Pot and kettle. Maybe they can look at it when they look at all Trump's lying. And he has just added another count to his gag order violations. Hearing on that will be tomorrow morning before the trial starts up again at 11am.
