Maybe

Poland’s president Andrzej Duda has said the missile that landed in his country and killed two people appears to be an “unfortunate accident”.

It was highly probable that the rocket, which was Russian-made, was used by the Ukrainian air defence, he added.

There were no grounds to believe that the missile incident was an intentional attack, Duda said, or that the rocket was launched by the Russian side.

He said:

From the information that we and our allies have, it was an S-300 rocket made in the Soviet Union, an old rocket and there is no evidence that it was launched by the Russian side. It is highly probable that it was fired by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense.

After reports that 1) Putin may have stalled announcing Russian retreat from Kherson until after our midterms in order not to help out Biden and the Dems, and 2) Biden called the Polish president and then convened a meeting at the G20 with leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the EU to discuss the matter of the "missile incident", I'd be willing to believe this report of an "unfortunate accident" could be a decision to avoid calling out a NATO alliance retaliation.

Of course, it could also be it was actually an "unfortunate accident".

Twenty years from now people may know the truth about the "missile incident" that killed two in Poland.  For now, we know WWIII has been averted.  For now.
