Pretty sure establishment Democrats would not want Andrew Yang making people think the emergency measures might become permanent. But they really did miss the mark with Texas. Beto O'Rourke could have filled that spot. Or Julian Castro. Again, this is establishment Dems in charge, so I'm guessing they were already strained giving a spot to Ocasio-Cortez.
They really didn't need Gavin Newsom or Andrew Cuomo. What's the point there?
