Desperation has a terrible smell

Matt Gaetz looking like he even makes himself sick.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) is calling on the Education Department to launch an investigation into the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, citing concerns about accusations of undisclosed donations from Chinese sources.

They are so desperate to tie Biden to China and blame China for the coronavirus disaster in the US. Who's going to tell them about Ivanka Trump's 16 recent Chinese trademarks?

The top Trump ally wrote in a letter to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on Monday that he has “extreme concern” about potential foreign influence over American colleges and universities and the impact it could have on elections.

Oh, that's rich.

They're also going to refuse to accept the election results if Trump loses. This will be one of their claims.

“The possibility that China may be using ‘anonymous donations’ in order to impact presidential politics should alarm all Americans, regardless of political affiliation. I sincerely hope this is not the case,” [Gaetz] wrote.

Now, Russia...that's a different story.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
