Another Chapter in Corporate Protest Busting

On September 3, the Dakota Access pipeline company attacked Native Americans with dogs and pepper spray as they protested against the $3.8 billion pipeline’s construction. [...] The project has faced months of resistance from the Standing Rock Sioux tribe and members of nearly 100 more tribes from across the U.S. and Canada.

UPDATE:

Adam Johnson says the guards with dogs were Pinkerton "thugs". Good old Pinkerton, busting unions and heads for centuries.

An arrest warrant for trespass has been issued in North Dakota for Amy Goodman for the above film (which went viral on the web and was re-published by several major news outlets).

Unfuckingbelievable.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
