Speaking of Trump and Sharpie...

During a Cabinet meeting on pressing national issues, President Donald Trump launched into a detailed story about securing custom Sharpie pens for $5 each — a claim Sharpie’s parent company denies. Trump framed the anecdote as proof of his cost-cutting instincts, contrasting the markers with $1,000 White House pens he criticized as wasteful. The lighthearted detour drew attention for overshadowing serious discussions on war and economic strain, while reviving memories of past Sharpie-related controversies.

Trump said Sharpie’s parent company offered to provide the pens for free, but he insisted on paying $5 each, casting it as a better deal than the costly pens previously used at the White House. He described the pens as 'hot as a pistol' and praised their performance. However, the claim drew skepticism since similar personalized Sharpies retail for under $2 online.

Newell Brands, which owns Sharpie, stated it had no information about the conversation or arrangement Trump described.

Just another story Trump made up.

No wonder Trump and RFKJr get on.  They're both narcissists who love to make up ridiculous stories.
