More Gestapo brutality

Show up to No Kings Day and anti-ICE protests. Stay calm. Be peaceful. Leave if you become aware of any real danger. Come back the next time.

It's going to get harder and more discouraging.  Don't give up.

ICE agents are not at risk of violence. They stoke it. Create it. "Their jobs" are apparently throwing people onto the ground, ripping people out of their cars, firing pepper bombs into peaceful protesters, ramming their vehicles into civilian drivers' cars while they're in them, and disappearing people.

Earlier this month, Bondi and the Department of Justice pressured Apple to remove the app ICEBlock from the App Store.

“We are incredibly disappointed by Apple’s actions. Capitulating to an authoritarian regime is never the right move,” the app’s creators wrote after the removal.

“Apple has claimed they received information from law enforcement that ICEBlock served to harm law enforcement officers. This is patently false. ICEBlock is no different from crowdsourcing speed traps, which every notable mapping application, including Apple’s own Maps app, implements as part of its core services. This is protected speech under the first amendment of the United States Constitution.”

What first amendment? It may be first, but it's been kneecapped.

It's deplorable.  It's illegal.  It's inhuman.

And these are Illinois State Police!  I am writing to Governor Pritzker. WTF?

The state website says Illinois State Police are charged with policing the highways, and that they are under the Governor's control.  Why are they here in the first place, Governor?  If Trump comes for "your" people, he has to come through you?  Your people are coming for your people.
