Canada in trouble

[Trump] mocked Canada PM Justin Trudeau for “running right down to Mar-a-Lago” to see him after he threatened the country with tariffs in a Truth Social post. Trudeau demonstrated incredible, shocking weakness in this moment. Trump now feels he is a sucker who is easily manipulated - the worst possible situation for healthy US-Canada relations. It is painfully clear that Trudeau does not understand Donald Trump or how to deal with him. At all. Good luck, Canada.

To be fair, Trump, as a convicted felon, is not permitted to enter Canada, but maybe Trudeau could have at least waited until Trump is sworn in.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
