I think we can answer his question:

Reporting from The Washington Post Thursday shed light on why federal law enforcement took the extraordinary step of raiding the residence of a former president.

They could already be in the possession of the Saudis who were at Trump's golf course a few days ago. Of course, if he's had them since he left office, they could have been sold to Russia and North Korea as well. This is not good.
