Anybody here feel sorry for Mitch McConnell?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he never wants to speak to President Donald Trump again following a violent insurrection at the US Capitol on Wednesda.

Pretty sure the orange asshat doesn't want to speak to Mitch, either.

After the building was secured and Congress reconvened more than six hours later, McConnell forcefully condemned the rioters.

People he positively counted on to keep Trump in office.

"Even during an ongoing armed rebellion and the Civil War, the clockwork of our democracy has carried on. The United States and the United States Congress have faced down much greater threats than the unhinged crowd we saw today."

They didn't just become unhinged overnight.

"They tried to disrupt our democracy. They failed," he said, adding, "This failed insurrection only underscores how crucial the task before us is for our republic."

McConnell himself has led years of virtual insurrection in the Senate against Constitutional norms and principals. Sorry, he doesn't get credit for acting outraged about it spilling into physicality. 

 ...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
