When you don't know how to delete a tweet

What's going on here?  Why the very minor changes that don't change the meaning at all?

It seems Old Lard Ass took Acosta's words and twisted them into a compliment.

The president was apparently referring to a CNN report by Acosta late Monday on the government reopening after a three-day shutdown.

“Now, there’s no denying Trump and his allies are spiking the football after the shutdown,” Acosta said.

The CNN White House correspondent, however, reported that a source said, “Trump wins again.”

An administration aide told him that “Democrats caved,” Acosta added.
