Did They Or Didn't They?

President Donald Trump responded Wednesday to the appointment of a special counsel to head the Justice Department’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, saying the development would “confirm” that there was “no collusion” between his campaign and Russia.

“As I have stated many times, a thorough investigation will confirm what we already know – there was no collusion between my campaign and any foreign entity,” Trump said in a statement. “I look forward to this matter concluding quickly. In the meantime, I will never stop fighting for the people and the issues that matter most to the future of our country.”

Who knows? But I'd be willing to bet the tRump doesn't know what "his team" did or didn't do. There were some serious sleazebags on it. Roger Stone and Paul Manafort to name two evil SOBs who could well have done some very dirty shit.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
