We desperately need an election system overhaul in this country, and one of its parts should be free access TV with equal time on publicly funded channels for all candidates to use in any way they wish, and NO time allowed on private/pay channels. Or something similar that takes away the influence of corporate money. (There WOULD, of course, be logistical issues - such as what time slot each candidate gets on which days - but those things could be equitably worked out.)
Tell me if I'm wrong. (And tell me why, if you do.)
