Who Says There's No Cooperation in Congress?
That ought to fuel the Tea Party bid to oust him. 'He's not a conservative if the Dems want to protect him.'
The way the news always prints "Tea Party" makes it seem as though it's an actual national political party. In fact, it probably should be, and that's just another reason why we should stop this two-party system that keeps everyone else out. On the other hand, since we insist on constructing our politics this way, the Tea Party is not as stupid as we might think. Stay inside the GOP and take over. That's the only way third party politics can have any power in this system. Green Party? Hah. Libertarian? Hah. Those folks are always going to be fringed out of the system. But the Tea Party, which is not an actual party, actually has a chance.
