At this point, they better be advising him to withdraw. Sadly, I have no faith in that prospect.
Garamendi brings up the point that I questioned in an earlier post: there's no need to rush, there's not going to be a change in the Senate makeup until at least January. And he's absolutely correct: every woman who's had something like this happen to her knows that if she comes forward, she's going to be further victimized by being told it was - in one way or another - her fault. And not just by men.
