The Times claims knowledge of the FBI informant

This is totally bizarre. The New York Times has just published an article claiming to know who the FBI's informant on the Trump campaign is. They won't name him, but they describe the person as "an American academic who teaches in Britain" and then go on to detail meetings he had with various Trump campaign people and to say, "The informant is well known in Washington circles, having served in previous Republican administrations and as a source of information for the C.I.A. in past years."

With all that detail, they might as well have named the guy. How many people could fit the description?

Move over Valerie Plame. You've got company.

Unbelievable. He won't be of much use in the future.

Exactly.

What the hell is going on?  America is in freefall.

And me taking sides with an FBI snitch.

Well, it's not Felix Sater.
