Dum da dum dum DUMMMMM

I don't know how they confirmed this.  Did McGahn get scared and decide to come clean?  Whatever, if it's not "fake news" (and it sure sounds like Trump), the noose is tightening.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

UPDATE:

Here we are:
The White House's chief lawyer told President Donald Trump in January he believed then-national security adviser Michael Flynn had misled the FBI and lied to Vice President Mike Pence and should be fired, a source familiar with the matter said Monday.

  CNN
"A source familiar with the matter." Jesus. That is getting so old. It's believable, but in these late days, I would be very careful about believing anything attributable only to the ubiquitous anonymous source. We know that the White House is desperate, and we know they are not above lying, and we know that agents for the White House try to get publications to put out something demonstrably false so they can cast them as fake news.
White House counsel Donald McGahn told Trump that based on his conversation with then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates, he believed Flynn had not told the truth in his interview with the FBI or to Pence, the source said. McGahn did not tell the President that Flynn had violated the law in his FBI interview or was under criminal investigation, the source said.
Is that supposed to cover Trump's fat ass? He didn't know lying to the FBI was a crime?
Despite McGahn's recommendation that Trump fire Flynn, the retired lieutenant general was kept on. Flynn was forced out in mid-February after news outlets reported about Yates' warning to McGahn.
He didn't say Flynn had violated the law, but he recommended he be fired. Okay.

I'll be expecting a new Trump tweet on this CNN ("Fake News!") report soon.

UPDATE:

That should be a fun time.
