Missing the point

I keep seeing this type of article and posting on social media: Hahahaha, DeepSeek results in less than democratic responses.

Are they missing the point on purpose?

The fucking point is DeepSeek showed that working AI can be achieved for a fraction of a fraction of what the US techbros have been spending.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
