"Desperate acts of defeated men" (Bobby Kennedy quote)

Rumors are flying that Trump will be "reinstated" as president in August. Apparently, people (including Trump) believe that.

Also, after less than a month, Trump has shut down his blog. The story on that is he wasn't getting the reprints he got when he was Tweeting, and instead got negative media attention pointing out how few people were visiting his blog.

I don't know which of these things came first, but they seem of a piece. He's desperate for attention.

I wonder when his first rally is going to be held. Is that just a threat? If he can't pack a venue, he won't be anxious to do it. He should just stick with teasing a run for president in 2024 and bilking his followers for cash donations.

Speaking of donations, I hear the insurrectionists who have been charged with crimes on January 6 have been raking in the dough from anonymous donors ostensibly for their defense expenses. No word on whether there are stipulations and limitations on how they can spend the booty.

P.S. As for the reinstatement, MAGAts are looking for a "Myanmar-style coup", and Mike Flynn is encouraging them.
