Impeach

At least 61 Democrats are calling for impeachment. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has consistently maintained that the House will not begin impeachment inquiries at this time.

[Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)] said Sunday morning on ABC's This Week that Democrats have a "very real risk of losing the presidency to Donald Trump." In the same interview, she renewed a push to begin impeachment hearings saying the pressure to impeach grows every day.

Trump selectively quoted Ocasio-Cortez's interview, tweeting he "agrees" and his potential win is "the only reason they play the impeach card."

"Mr. President, you're from Queens. You may fool the rest of the country, but I'll call your bluff any day of the week," the freshman Democrat tweeted.

"Opening an impeachment inquiry is exactly what we must do when the President obstructs justice, advises witnesses to ignore legal subpoenas and more," she said.

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
