After every analyst on the planet weighed in that Giuliani seriously screwed the pooch, Trump is, as Trump does, undercutting him.
President Donald Trump said Friday his new lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, is "a great guy" and "he'll get his facts straight."
[...]
"He's learning the subject matter. He's going to be issuing a statement, too," Trump said of the former New York City mayor. "He started yesterday. He'll get his facts straight."

And, Trump says, he wants to talk to "the people in charge if they can prove that it's a fair situation." Whatever the hell that means.
Of course Giuliani spilled the beans on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, he was doubling down on the story. If he was telling a falsehood, or something Trump knew wasn't "straight" facts, he could have put a stop to the Friday morning interviews. Trump was in on it until he saw all the Friday morning analyses.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
