Shit just got real

The FBI executed a search warrant on Monday at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, the former President confirmed to CNN.

Trump declined to say why the FBI agents were at Mar-a-Lago, but the former President said the raid was unannounced and “they even broke into my safe.”

Dude! That was not a break-in. That was the fuckin' FBI! 

“My beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” he said in a statement.

Trump was not in Florida at the time of the raid.

Oh my.

The raid began early Monday morning and law enforcement personnel appeared to be focused on the area of the club where Trump’s offices and personal quarters are.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before,” Trump said. “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”

Trump compared the search of Mar-a-Lago to the Watergate break-in and said America has become a third-world country, “corrupt at a level not seen before.”

If they weren't willing to ask him for what they're looking for - and waited until he was gone even! - they must have an idea he has something very serious.

Whatever it is, it must be big. I wonder if Pat Cipollone (or as the AI translator called him, Patsy Baloney) flipped.

Like Watergate. Not quite, asshat. This is the effen FBI investigating the crime, not some incompetent burglars committing it.

He then went on to whine that Hillary Clinton never got served with a warrant by the FBI and was "allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 emails" and "even took antique furniture" from the White House.

Hillary gets a new accusation every time Trump gets caught at something.

This is going to tide me over until the next hearings.

CNN sources have confirmed that the raid was in relation to the Justice Department's ongoing investigation of classified documents that were improperly removed when Trump left the White House, although DOJ officials themselves are not offering comment on the matter.
