Please don't let the orange crybaby back in office

Trump blasted Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), [...] calling him “shifty” and demanded that the “partisan” committee investigating the [January 6 Capitol] riot “stop at once.” The committee has seven Democrats and two Republicans and is not partisan, despite Trump’s complaints.

Trump also delivered a curious gripe given his own position on the events of Jan. 6, writing:
What happened to the Capitol would have never happened if the people in charge did their job and looked at the intelligence. They abandoned the officers on the ground, just like Biden abandoned Americans in Afghanistan. Instead of holding bad leaders accountable, the Democrats are going after innocent staffers and attacking the Constitution.
Schiff was quick to fire back on Twitter, complete with an accurate title for Trump that those around the former president never use:
Thanks for the shout-out, Mr. Former President.
As for your statement that the attack on the Capitol would never have happened if “the people in charge had done their job”
You do realize that you were in charge on January 6th? Right?

PLAYER: Act natural. You know why you're here at least.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
