It was not immediately clear what sanctions Trump was referring to. There were no new US sanctions on North Korea announced on Friday but on Thursday the United States blacklisted two Chinese shipping companies that it said helped North Korea evade sanctions over its nuclear weapons program.

If the one guy who gets it is Trump, a man who has bankrupted or busted every business he's ever run, and who can't get a bank loan, perhaps you should rethink your position.

“Stephen Moore is a particularly poor choice for the Federal Reserve Board,” said Tim Duy, an economics professor and a Fed expert at the University of Oregon. “He appears more devoted to pursuing a far-right economic agenda than willing to understand the complexity of economic policy.”

Which is why Trump likes him.
