It seems to me that one of the worries about getting rid of Trump - namely, that we'll be stuck with Pence - might be taken care of in the Mueller probe as well. Here are some excerpts from a Sarah
Kendzior article written in the spring of 2017 that may speak to that possibility:
Pence has been involved in the Trump campaign for nine months, placed there, allegedly, at the behest of then-campaign manager Paul Manafort, who remains one of the central figures in the Russian interference scandal. Pence consulted with Manafort regularly throughout the campaign and the transition period, and had a hand in selecting other members of the administration who have been accused of improper interactions with Russia, including Flynn and attorney general Jeff Sessions.
It’s possible Pence rode the Trump train to the White House knowing, or at least suspecting, that the conductor could soon get booted. Under the malleable and erratic Trump, Pence has had the opportunity to push for repressive policies like laws that discriminate against LGBT Americans and religious minorities and fiscal policies that punish the poor. And his track record so far suggests Pence will not aggressively push for the necessary investigations as the Russian interference scandal continues.

Kendzior goes on to enumerate other reasons we don't want Pence for President.
[H]is repressive policies toward women and LGBT Americans, his history of corruption which included stripping power from Democratic rivals, his denial of resources to citizens in his home state of Indiana, and his opposition to religious freedom in favor of Christian dominance.

But there is a simpler reason to oppose Pence, and that is because he has proven he cannot be trusted. From the moment he entered the national stage, he has lied in order to protect Trump, no matter how egregious Trump’s actions or how damaging his behavior has been for the integrity of our democracy. Pence has been a willing participant in the Trump campaign and administration, responsible both for orchestrating its mistakes and then denying them. As the investigation into Russian interference continues, Pence’s role needs to be fully explored. He is not the solution, but part of the problem. Do not be fooled by the demeanor of a calm liar.
When it's all said and done, I'm guessing the list of Trump administration people who aren't deeply connected to the mob-influenced, Russian-backed cabal will be a lot shorter than the list of those who are. (It likely
includes Pence CoS - for now - Nick Ayers, as well.)

This is such a nonsense conspiracy theory. How bizarre that your ilk by contrast see Islamification or control by Deep State as the conspiracy theories, when the former is really just the consequence of the policies endorsed by your camp, and the latter is the obvious nature of a deeply-rooted, careerist government that has many, many layers and obviously the corporate lobbies want to get their hands as close to them as possible to push the agendas they want (but hey, at least it’s not the EU and the corporations don’t write the legislation themselves). It was also kind of funny to see your ilk try to spin “the lib Jews as refugee funders” theory as a conspiracy built on anti-Semitic canards and then the lib Jews came out and said yeah we do support this, damn right, and we’re proud. Keep pushing the “russia stolld my election” line though, it’s hilarious. Meanwhile there is AIPAC right in front of you, influencing elections for over a quarter century, and we have folks with American and Israeli citizenship working in the government. Who else can do that? But oh, that pesky Russian meme meddling.
