Trump rape trial - ongoing

Forgot to publish this when I wrote it (5/3)

Yesterday:

Testifying were other women who said Trump assaulted them, or whom E. Jean Carroll told about Trump raping her at the time it happened.

These days it might be different, but in those days, the number of women who told anyone about being accosted by a man would have been a mere fraction of the number who were. In those days, it was expected, if not tolerated, that men behaved aggressively toward women.  And it was routinely seen as the woman's fault.  She "asked for it" by her own behavior, or dress.

Even when accosted to the point of having been raped, the number who tell is not equal to the number who are raped, but is likely particularly small in the case of a "mere" unwanted groping.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
