Some people don't know when to sit down

Former White House physician and retired Navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson will run for a seat in the House of Representatives in Texas, formally filing papers just hours before a state deadline.

Jackson will run as a Republican for the seat held by retiring Rep. Mac Thornberry (R), the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee. The rural Texas Panhandle district is heavily Republican; President Trump scored almost 80 percent of the vote there in 2016.

Texas may no longer be the state for Ronny Jackson to seek public office, even in the Panhandle, but we'll see. This is the guy who so blatantly lied for Trump at his first health exam, passed out opioids to the White House Military Office staff, including to himself, and got drunk at a party and wrecked a government vehicle. Oh, yes, there's more...
On [one] trip during Barack Obama’s presidency, White House staff members reached out to Dr. Jackson for medical reasons but found him passed out in his hotel room after a night of drinking, Tester aides said. The staff members took the medical supplies they were looking for without waking Dr. Jackson.

The document prepared by the Democratic staff of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee paints a picture of a medical office that was casual with the prescribing and distribution of drugs but terrorized by a mercurial boss, quick to anger. According to the summary, interviewed staff members described Dr. Jackson as “the most unethical person I have ever worked with,” “flat-out unethical” and “incapable of not losing his temper,” among other charges.

The Navy’s Inspector General is still investigating allegations that he improperly handled prescription drugs during his White House years. Former Navy Secretary Richard Spencer approved of Jackson’s request to retire.

They're sure dragging out that investigation.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
