Trump's in GREAT shape - Part 2

There seems to be some question about Trump's physical not having been scheduled.

Bloomberg paints it as an "early start" on his annual checkup.
President Donald Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday for a “quick exam and labs” related to his annual physical exam, the White House said.

“Anticipating a very busy 2020, the president is taking advantage of a free weekend here in Washington, D.C., to begin portions of his routine annual physical exam at Walter Reed,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in an emailed statement.

Trump’s previous checkups as president have followed a fairly regular annual schedule. His most recent was in February and the previous assessment was done in January 2018.

Trump was found in February to weigh 243 pounds -- a four-pound gain from 2018 -- putting his body mass index at 30.4 and making him clinically obese. His dose of rosuvastatin, a medication for treating high cholesterol, was increased, according to a statement at the time from Conley.

During his 2018 visit, Trump was urged to lose weight, though White House spokesman Hogan Gidley conceded in February the president had not “religiously” followed that guidance.

He looks like he's gained 100 pounds, and there's no way I'm going to believe he only weighed 243 pounds in February.

CNN has a little different slant.
Trump's trip to Walter Reed took place under unusual circumstances.

His two previous physical exams in office were announced ahead of time by the White House and noted on his daily public schedule.

This time, however, the President's motorcade drove to the medical center unannounced, with reporters under direction not to report his movement until they arrived at Walter Reed. Trump typically takes the Marine One helicopter to Walter Reed, but on Saturday's clear-skied day, the President opted for the motorcade.

CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta said on CNN that there are many routine tests that can be done at the White House, but specific tests would require a visit to Walter Reed.

Gupta said the medical team at Walter Reed would typically "spend a lot of time" preparing for a presidential visit. It was unclear when the medical team at Walter Reed had received notice of the President's visit. CNN has reached out to Walter Reed for comment.

Last year's exam revealed that Trump has a common form of heart disease and high cholesterol. Then-White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson recommended that the President get on a diet, start exercising and set a goal of losing a dozen pounds, but sources told CNN in February that Trump had made only minor changes to his diet and exercise regimen since his 2018 exam.
Let me guess: he scaled back exercising and doubled up on cheeseburgers (or hamberders as he calls them).
Jackson also revealed that Trump underwent a coronary calcium CT scan as part of his routine physical exam. Trump's score was recorded as 133, and Gupta noted at the time that anything over 100 indicates plaque is present and that the patient has heart disease.

[Spokesperson Stephanie] Grisham told CNN that the White House will not release results of the President's health until he completes all aspects of his annual physical.

  CNN
He needs time to lose some weight.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
