On the Khashoggi situation, Trump told reporters: "It's a shame, but it is what it is."
Trump repeats three times that his position on Saudi Arabia is an "America First" stance. He calls Iran a "terrorist nation" and says that the U.S. needs "a counterbalance."
Responding to WaPo's argument that he's putting personal and financial interests above America's, Trump says, "Being president has cost me a fortune...a tremendous fortune, like you've never seen before."
Trump repeats his false claim that Saudi Arabia has made hundreds of billions of dollars worth of purchase agreements with the U.S. during his presidency.
Trump's summary of Ivanka's use of personal email to conduct government business: "For a little period of time, Ivanka did some emails."

Trump argued that the Ivanka email situation is not analogous to Clinton's, since he says there was not classified information, no basement server, and no deletion.
Of the 9th Circuit appeals court, which he accuses of left-wing bias, Trump claims, "I'm going to put in a major complaint." He does not explain what he's talking about.
Trump claims he has completed his "written answers to the witch hunt," "yesterday," and "the lawyers have them," and "I assume they'll turn them in today, or - soon."
Asked why he has not visited troops in a war zone, Trump claimed he is indeed going to a war zone.
Trump calls Facebook "so Democrat-oriented." He says he was "surprised and disappointed" to learn that Chuck Schumer's daughter works for Facebook.
Trump re-escalates his language on China, claiming he's going to impose hundreds of billions of additional tariffs if China doesn't make a deal: "Believe me, I'll be putting them on."
"They have nothing definitive," Trump says of the CIA, though news outlets have reported the CIA has concluded the crown prince was responsible for the killing. "And the fact is: maybe he did, maybe he didn't. If you look at Iran, what they've done..."
Trump on Mississippi Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith saying she wanted to make it harder for liberals to vote: "She made a statement which I know she feels very badly about it. It was just sort of said in jest." Trump calls Hyde-Smith a "spectacular woman." He says he might even do three rallies for her, not just two.
Trump on who should be TIME's person of the year: "It's called person of the year, right? It's no longer man of the year, right?...I don't know...I can't imagine anybody else other than Trump. Can you imagine anybody other than Trump? Huh? Have a good time, everybody."
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
