It should do more than raise eyebrows.Devin Nunes met with Blackwater founder Erik Prince earlier this year and discussed Nunes' investigation into the unmasking of Americans' identities in US intelligence reports, Prince told the House Intelligence Committee in an interview last week.
The meeting, which took place over "the summer or early fall," has raised eyebrows given Nunes' recusal from the Russia investigation and Prince's status as a witness in that probe.

Nunes stepped aside from the Russia investigation in early April following his decision to brief Trump and the press on classified intelligence — without telling his fellow committee members.

And, why was Prince meeting with Nunes?Asked if he had "any subsequent communication with any of the members or staff of the committee," Prince replied that he "had seen Chairman Nunes." Prince said later that his meeting with Nunes was actually the first time he learned that the committee wanted him to testify.
"He had talked about coming in for a hearing," Prince said. "And one of his staff members was there as well."
Riiiiiight.Asked whether Nunes had gotten into "the substance of your testimony in any way," Prince replied that the conversation revolved around Nunes' "investigation into the unmasking of intelligence on Americans."
"He said I should come in and talk to him about that," Prince said.
Here's some background on Nunes' involvement with the House Intel Committees "investigation" from this summer:
Nunes is blatantly covering for Trump, and obviously working with the cabal in this regard. Why? I wonder if there aren't other Republican Congressmen who are involved somehow. In early April and after weeks of pressure from Democrats, House Select Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes announced he would step away from leading his committee’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
After a series of missteps that included a secret visit to the White House to view classified documents, House Democrats had been calling on the Tulare Republican to recuse himself from the investigation. Most people — including the Democrats — assumed his announcement meant he would stay away from anything Russia-related.

This is what he said on April 6 right before the House Ethics Committee announced it was investigating whether Nunes broke House rules by revealing classified information in conversations with the media about the Russia investigation. Mind the phrasing:
“I believe it is in the best interests of the House Intelligence Committee and the Congress for me to have Representative Mike Conaway, with assistance from Representatives Trey Gowdy and Tom Rooney, temporarily take charge of the Committee’s Russia investigation while the House Ethics Committee looks into this matter,” his statement said. “I will continue to fulfill all my other responsibilities as Committee Chairman, and I am requesting to speak to the Ethics Committee at the earliest possible opportunity in order to expedite the dismissal of these false claims.”

[A] couple of weeks ago, CNN reported Nunes went to CIA headquarters to review intelligence documents related to Russia. Democrats started complaining that he was still too involved.
In an interview with Fox News a few days later, Nunes said he was still handling the portion of the committee's investigation related to whether Obama officials inappropriately requested the unmasking of the names of Trump campaign officials in intelligence documents. Unmasking is the term for revealing the names of U.S. citizens in intelligence reports who were swept up as part of surveillance of foreign officials. Their names remain secret until top officials request them.

At any rate, the House investigation is worthless. The GOP will clear everybody no matter what is uncovered. I think they'll probably do the same with the Senate investigation. The only non-partisan investigation worth anything is Mueller's.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
