New York Terror Tools

The New York State Senate has passed a piece of legislation that would create a list of those convicted of terrorism similar to a Sex Offender Registry.

State Senator Cathy Young of Olean is a co-sponsor of the proposal to create a "New York State Terrorist Registry" that would include those convicted of acts of terrorism, both here and abroad.

Registrants would be required to complete a standardized registration form and law enforcement agencies would collect a current photograph, fingerprints and a DNA sample.

And like the Sex Offender Registry, the non-confidential information of each registrant, would be available to the public.

Who thinks up this shit? Are convicted terrorists out and about? Are they going to register with the State of New York?

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
