Turkey Begs to Differ

The coalition seems to have some weak links.
Turkey has not reached a new agreement to let the US use its Incirlik airbase in the fight against Islamic State (Isis) militants, and talks are continuing on the subject, the Turkish prime minister’s office has said, in comments that run contrary to a statement made by US national security adviser Susan Rice on Sunday.

The prime minister’s office said an agreement had been reached to train moderate Syrian rebels on Turkish soil, but it was not yet clear “where [and] in what way” that would happen.

On Sunday, the US said Turkey had agreed to let US and coalition forces use its military bases.

They may need more persuading.

And they're not the only ones with a communication problem.
The Palestinian Authority (PA) has announced that it will take control of the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings between Israel and Gaza on Sunday, but with misinformation rife and few noticeable changes on the ground this claim has since been placed in doubt

Ramallah-based Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein al-Shiekh then reissued these assurances on Saturday, promising that drastic changes would be carried out on the borders today

This comes amid promises from the PA to negotiate with Israel allowing Palestinians from Gaza to enter the West Bank. According to the PA, this will be done through a "safe passage" which will work to counter the high unemployment in Gaza Strip and allow people in Gaza to work in Israel and the West Bank. - See more at: http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/confusion-surrounds-announced-pa-takeover-gaza-s-border-crossings-260317488#sthash.pzfeWuZV.dpuf

But the head of Gaza border crossings, Maher Abu Sabha, quickly responded to the PA announcement, stating that no arrangement had been made with the PA to hand over control of the crossings. - See more at: http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/confusion-surrounds-announced-pa-takeover-gaza-s-border-crossings-260317488#sthash.pzfeWuZV.dpuf
