CNN is a big enough organization to have someone staked out at every house of the people left to likely be indicted. I don't think there's anything even remotely nefarious or suspicious that they had a reporter at Stone's place.
What does surprise me is, if it's true, Stone was reportedly in his pajamas when the FBI came knocking at 6:00am. Given the likelihood of his being indicted (which he acknowledged), and the report yesterday that the Grand Jury met, I'd think he would be up and dressed and ready to roll. Maybe he thought pajamas would be a better look.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
