I don't have a whole lot of faith in Rosenstein, although I do appreciate that he hasn't resigned or attempted to rein in Mueller.
This whole thing is just so bizarre, from the length of time it took for the story to leak and be reported, to the surprise advice of Sean Hannity to Trump to steer clear because "it's a set-up." What if Trump hadn't been away on a rally when it came out? The totally expected cries to fire Rosenstein from others of his Fox favorites that he would have been watching might well have sent him into reactive firing mode.
It's just impossible to tell which way this past week's bombshells are going to bounce. Crazytown is exploding.
