Double down on those lies

Pathological.
Donald Trump has been saying for a very long time that the United States is the highest-taxed country in the world. This is not remotely true. Today reporter Mike Sacks asked him why he keeps saying something that’s obviously false. Trump acknowledged that this “fact” he constantly asserts is false, but it’s true in spirit, because the United States is the highest-taxed developed country.

[...]

That is also false. In fact, it’s even more false than the original statement. Most of the countries that have a lower share of taxes to gross domestic product are the undeveloped economies.

I thought he would correct his statement to say "corporate" taxes, which is something I've been seeing in print - that we have the highest corporate taxes. And that's not even true.

(Why do they insist on calling Puerto Rico a nation?  It's a US territory.)

In the video clip embedded in this story, Dolt 45 says, "A lot of people agree with" the way he's saying it. Of course they do. They'll agree with anything he says. They're his gullible, hateful supporters. A lot of people agreeing with a lie, however, obviously, doesn't make it true.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
