Day 5 of the humiliation of Kevin McCarthy

Jesus Fucking Christ. They're making a game out of it now.

Ballot #15 on the way just after midnight.

Biggs switches present. He wants to go home. Boebert and Gaetz vote present again. Crane switches from Biggs to present and leaves the room. Good and Rosendale switch to present.

Marjorie TG has gotten a seat by Gaetz to get in on the camera time. (Boebert is on his other side.) Somebody's kid is whining. No really. Somebody's little kid.

McCarthy finally gets his gavel. Grinning like an idiot. Like this wasn't the most humiliating and embarrassing display since forever.

And NOW they can get down to the important business of impeaching Biden, Fauci and Mayorkas, and investigating Hunter Biden.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.

UPDATE: Looks like somebody had a moment...

UPDATE:

I think it must be true. It would explain the blow-up. People were saying McCarthy was going up to Gaetz to get his vote, which I didn't understand because Gaetz had already voted - present - when McCarthy went up the aisle. Here's the video of what I was watching in real time:

With this information from Olivia Beavers, it makes sense. The altercation would have been McCarthy confronting Gaetz about changing from a vote for McCarthy to present. There's going to be nothing but trouble for the next two years.

UPDATE: Marjorie TG ran down and put her face beside McCarthy to have her grinning picture taken. They act like they pulled off something great. They showed their asses to the whole world is what they did. And they have the hutzpah to be shouting "USA! USA! USA!" Embarrassing.
