Doesn't read past the headline

And yet, unemployment remains at the same level.

I can see why he tweeted that quote, but this one is less easily explained:

Perhaps coming from Brietbart, he didn't expect it to contain the word "dismal".

Also, this morning:

(Read them from the bottom up.  I was too lazy to cut them out separately and post them, because I'm using too much energy to comment on them.  He doesn't know how to thread tweets so they can be screen captured in the proper order.)

Number one:

Number two:

Tariff is now a verb, I see.  Since so many of the cars we buy are assembled in Mexico, "tariffing" them is going to result in an increase in cost to US consumers.  He still hasn't grasped the effect of tariffs.  Is a 25% tariff going to make auto manufacturers turn around and bring their shops back to the US?  No.

Number three:

He will not, under any circumstances close the border.  That lead balloon hit the ground pdq.

Number four:

USMCA isn't something to supersede.  It hasn't been enacted, and who knows if it even will be in a year's time?  It certainly won't if Mexico and Canada think Trump will simply supersede it any time he gets a hair up his ass.

Number five:

If Americans didn't create a demand for DRUGS, Mexico wouldn't be supplying them.  As long as there is a demand, a way to supply will be found.

Number six:

The more he threatens to close the border or take other drastic action (even including building a wall), the more people there will be taking the risk and the journey to get across the border before it gets even harder to do.

And this, this is autocratic and dangerous.  He needs to be stopped.
