Perhaps he now wants to use the money preserving (and perhaps erecting more) Confederate monuments. The White House said Thursday it is abandoning plans to create an infrastructure advisory council, a day after an embattled President Trump announced he was scrapping two other jobs-related groups in the wake of defections from business leaders over his comments about violence in Charlottesville, Va.
"The President's Advisory Council on Infrastructure, which was still being formed, will not move forward," the White House said in a statement.
The administration had announced creation of the council last month to advise Trump on how best to spend government money on infrastructure projects.

Next up, I believe, is his meeting to discuss what to do about Afghanistan.
Be ready for anything.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
UPDATE: I was going to ask who pulled out, as a joke
[U]nlike many of the other proposals, infrastructure is an actual problem to be solved. It was the national issue that played most directly into the president*'s alleged expertise as a "builder." Now, though, it seems like your bridges are going to remain perilous for at least a while longer because there's a whole new group of movers and shakers who don't want to be seen with the guy.
