Murdochs Marching Away from Trump

First, Rupert Murdoch allows his outlets to slam Trump and intimates that he has dirt that Trump might want to consider when refusing to take Murdoch's "advice" and fire Bannon. Now, son James Murdoch tightens the screws.

James Murdoch, the chief executive of 21st Century Fox and the son of a frequent ally of President Trump’s, condemned the president’s performance after the violence in Charlottesville, Va., and pledged to donate $1 million to the Anti-Defamation League.

In an email on Thursday [...] the Fox scion gave an extraordinarily candid statement against the white supremacist sentiment that swept through Virginia last weekend.

I notice he's not donating any money to black organizations trying to fight racism.

GUILDENSTERN: We only know what we're told, and that's little enough. And for all we know it isn't even true.

PLAYER: For all anyone knows, nothing is. Everything has to be taken on trust; truth is only that which is taken to be true. It's the currency of living. There may be nothing behind it, but it doesn't make any difference so long as it is honoured. One acts on assumptions.
