Amazing CNN Russia Hacking Poll

I've never been fond of polls, and at least in the 2016 election, they were completely useless, but I do find this one rather astounding.
Fifty-five percent of Americans say they are at least quite a bit concerned about the Russian hacks, the poll shows. There is a sharp partisan divide, with 86% of Democrats saying they are concerned compared with 29% of Republicans.

One reason I think polls are off is because they don't count people who are not willing to take the time to be polled. I wonder if the only people participating in polls are very partisan people in the first place. If that's the case, then those numbers are not surprising as they lie along party lines, but it's interesting that even amongst the people who were willing to participate, only 55% claimed to care whether the Russians hacked the election.  Either people have stopped believing what the government sponsored media are telling them - which would be entirely justified - or they're really just completely fed up with politics, even the politics of global conflict.  Or maybe they're just thinking about Christmas.

At any rate, they don't seem to be as pliable when it comes to Red baiting as they are at the mention of the word "terrorist" or "Muslim".

And then there's the question of, if the Russians did hack the election, did it have an impact on how we voted?
However, most Americans do not believe Russian hacking influenced the outcome of the election.

Just 37% say they believe Russian hacking helped Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, while 57% say they think it had no impact.

Broadly, at 31%, more Americans said Trump is "too friendly" toward Russian President Vladimir Putin than the 24% who said he's "not too friendly." Another 44% had no opinion.

And about 50% of Americans said they approved of Trump's handling of the transition, while 41% disapprove, the survey shows.
Very interesting indeed. Even democrats who might worry about the hack don't think it had any effect on the outcome.

So, isn't it time for the media and the Democrat elite to stop pushing this trope? Particularly considering the danger inherent in doing so?

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
