Reconsidering Bernie

In the early stages of Bernie's campaign, my concern was that he wasn't really "in it to win it", but to force the Democratic party to think more leftist. (But really, only to TALK more leftist, because once in the White House, it's a given Hillary will back away from her Sanders-shadowing talk, which is temporary - just to pull votes.) After a while, I thought he was actually going for it. Now I'm starting to feel like my original assessment was probably right.

And, maybe the most important thing that Bernie's campaign is doing is opening up the discussion of what's wrong with the Democratic Party, America's electoral system, foreign policy and income inequality.  Giving young people something with which to move the country forward, if they can maintain the energy.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
