In actuality, Claire, non-peaceful protests are ultra-American and have been one of the few things that ever corrects terrible wrongs in this country. Where the hell have you been? Visit your local library and check out a history book. Or, make it easy on yourself and ask one of your low-paid aides to work you up a report on the history of violent protest in America.
