Hey, I'm on Vacation Here!

President Obama’s decision to hit the links and yuk it up with pals immediately after speaking about the beheading of James ¬Foley was no ordinary mistake. Nor was it a simple gaffe.

[...]

Simple decency and respect for Foley’s horrified parents should have been enough to sober him. If that didn’t do it, the realization that the Islamic State had declared war on America in the most gruesome fashion imaginable should have sounded a call of duty in his head.

Instead, Obama continued with his vacation and was photographed looking as if he didn’t have a care in the world.

"There's no doubt that — after having talked to the families, where it was hard for me to hold back tears listening to the pain that they were going through, after the statement that I made, that you know, I should've anticipated the optics" he added.

  The Hill
No kidding. These people live in bubbles don’t they? Otherwise, how did he not realize that he was repeating a Bush mistake? (One of many.) Oh well, he doesn’t need to worry, does he? They may live in bubbles, but nobody ever bursts them. Obama and Bush: twin brothers of different mothers.

"You know, that's part of the job.”

Obama also said “theater” is part of the presidency.

  The Hill
Just part of the job.

Neeeexxxxxxxxxxxt!
