Congress appropriated foreign aid set to expire at the end of this month. Trump was not releasing it in accordance with the appropriation even after ordered by Appeals and Circuit courts in DC. The admin then filed in the Supreme Court for a stay of the order to release the money.
With the shadow docket, SCOTUS favors Trump.
