Well, I'll tell you what he DID know. He knew what was not being returned when the National Archives asked for the records back.
Also...
He didn't pack them. (He doesn't do any work himself.) But he requested them.
...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
UPDATE:
An afterthought: Maybe this is why DOJ never seemed to be doing anything about the insurrection vis à vis Trump. They had something much bigger and more easily provable on him.
