Trump in North Dakota

Not the first time he's made up a story about some tough guy breaking into grateful tears.

Trump on the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee: "The way they're screaming and shouting, it's a disgrace to our country, actually...They're making fools out of themselves."
Trump says he's created "more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs," "soon to be 600,00," since his election. It's 378,000 manufacturing jobs since November 2016.
"U.S. Steel is opening up eight plants," Trump lies again. It's announced major investments in two plants since he announced his tariffs.
And last time he lied about it, he said six plants.
Trump on Canada: "A tax on cars would be the ruination of the country. That's how big it is. It'd be the ruination of the country." [...] He also said today that he sees this particular threat as an effective bargaining tool, claiming other countries just give in whenever he raises it. [...] Canadian economists do not think a Trump auto tariff would cause anything like "ruination," but there's a consensus that it would indeed be a major hit. TD Economics forecast 160,000 lost jobs, almost all of them in Ontario.
Trump says "this idiot Woodward" wrote "fiction" about his views on defending other countries, then concedes the substance is accurate: "He put it in a very crude manner...the concept is true but the way it was said was very, you know, hey - I went, like, to the best college."
Trump says it's "crazy" that the U.S. has to provide financial help to "developing" nations: "They call 'em developing nations. Well, we're a developing nation too. OK? We are. As far as I'm concerned, we're a developing nation."

Aaron Rupar has the video clips.

Meanwhile, Obama gave a speech in Illinois.  Aaron Rupar has the video clips of that, too.
