A great honor

A blind amphibian creature that buries its head in the sand was discovered recently has been named after President Trump.

Aidan Bell, head of sustainable building materials company EnviroBuild, paid $25,000 at an auction to name the species Dermophis donaldtrumpi, according to the Guardian.

I think something bullheaded and self-destructive might have been a better subject, but Bell says it's the way Trump treats climate change.  And something that crawls on its belly seems fitting.
The scientists who discovered the creature have agreed to use the new name when they publish their find in scientific literature.

The small, legless amphibian was found in Panama. The naming rights were auctioned off to raise money for the Rainforest Trust, a nonprofit environmental group.
Well, that's perfect.
A new moth whose wings resemble Trump’s hair was last year named after the president. The researcher who found the moth decided to name it Neopalpa donaldtrumpi to raise awareness for protecting fragile habitats in California and Mexico, according to Science Magazine.
A trend may be forming.

UPDATE:

It's a worm!  Perfect.
