Essentially, all he did was offer up that he'd always been honest and told the truth as he recalled it. He just excuses his earlier lies as a failure of his memory which has since become sharp when contradicting evidence surfaced.
And, hysterically, at the end, Hakeem Jeffries from New York asked to enter into the record a Washington Post article titled Has Jeff Sessions got the world's worst memory, or what? (It was just published.)
Jeffries may have done it because the article includes a video of his questioning of Sessions. Whatever the reason, when he asked to enter it, the look on Sessions' face was priceless.
