I have a bad habit of skimming right past the @ blue-type information at the beginnings of tweets and reading only the black type, which sometimes causes me unnecessary confusion. Like this tRump tweet:
So when I read backward to @Ivanka, I assumed it to be Trump's daughter's Twitter account. Reading backward further, I realized that this particular tweet is a quote of a tweet from somebody whose Twitter "handle" is drgoodpsine.
But that wasn't the end of it. It was even better than thinking Trump was calling himself a great woman with real character and class.
It turns out that @drgoodspine mistakenly directed his tweet to @Ivanka and not to Trump's daughter's actual Twitter account: @IvankaTrump. So, as is the case with blue (links) @ attributions, this tweet was automatically sent to every account with the blue @ name.
And, the actual @Ivanka who was mistakenly included replied:
Nicely played, Ivanka.
(She'll be getting more Twitter responses than she ever wanted, poor thing. They're already hunting her down.)
