What? No Vacations?

Top adviser Kellyanne Conway says it is “doubtful” that the president-elect will collect a salary from being executive producer on “Celebrity Apprentice,” noting that he is foregoing most of his White House salary.

Conway said Trump is still consulting with ethics experts to determine whether it would be proper to stay on as executive producer on the NBC reality show he used to host.

“He’s a very transparent guy. Everyone can see what he’s doing,” she said.

Perhaps with the exception of his tax returns.
"And the fact is that he’s conferring with all types of experts to tell him what he’s allowed to do and not to do as the president of the United States."
Perhaps with the exception of talking to the president of Taiwan.
Trump has said that he will only take one dollar in White House salary.
I should hope so considering the money he's going to make on his businesses due to his office. But someone should check on that, since he won't be producing his tax returns.
"[I]f this [producing the show] is one of the approved activities, perhaps he’ll consider staying on.”

Pressed on whether being an executive producer would distract from the more important role of being president, Conway compared it to President Obama’s frequent golfing trips.

“Okay, but were we so concerned about the hours and hours and hours spent on the golf course of the current president?” Conway said.

“I mean, presidents have a right to do things in their spare time or their leisure time, I mean nobody objects to that.”
In fact, Kellyanne, I think if you'll check, there were plenty of people, including one in particular, concerned about those golfing hours.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
